Challenged Athletes Foundation
Join me in supporting CAF!
In 2008 I had the opportunity to race at the Short Course World Championships in Vancouver, Canada. While there I was able to witness the courage of an amazing group of athletes. While waiting for the start of my wave I watched one after another physically disabled athletes come out of the 55 degree water with more desire then I had ever witnessed.
After watching this I decided to try to find a way to help. Most people who will read this are able to go race any weekend they want without a second thought. We don't have to worry about a custom bike or a prosthetic leg. Or worry about having to pay for these after all the medical bills. We are all very lucky to be able to live this lifestyle without these other challenges. I think we all love it enough to give a little so someone else can experience it also.
CAF helps support these athletes who can't pay for expensive equipment to race on. They have helped kids, adults and soldiers live their athletic dreams after suffering a life changing injury.
Even a small donation will help, so lets start helping these athletes realize their athletic dreams.
